TAMS is a diverse and experienced Health and Safety Consultancy, providing advice to a range of clients.

Tam started his career as a Land Agent working in the Utilities and Petrochemical industry, a notoriously hazardous environment. Health and Safety was, of course, top priority at all times. The work involved assessing all kinds of risks and finding ways to create a safer environment for all. This meant that Tam worked in many different situations identifying hazards, from farms to refineries. This gave him a good grounding to work with people at all levels and all backgrounds. This was helped by growing up on a family farm and being involved in all aspects of dairy and arable farming. This passion still continues today with him working and running a small holding of his own in his spare time.
Tam moved on from this to join The Health and Safety Executive which enabled him to understand the process companies go through in the event of an incident under investigation.
As a Health and Safety Consultant for the last 12 years, working with a variety of clients from Charities to Governmental Organisations Tam is able to see both ends of the spectrum and this has given him the drive to help clients set up practical, achievable and bespoke processes that would avoid this situation by giving advice on how to control risks, eliminate hazards and therefore improve legal compliance and better still, to make the workplace safer.

As Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 specialists we can provide CDM Advisor or Principal Designer Services to support the client through construction projects. TAMS can carry out independent site compliance audits to reassure the clients that the sites and management arrangements remain compliant.
If preferable TAMS can provide an annually retained service which means we will be available on the end of the phone to give helpful and useful advice whenever you need it. We can even help you with technical details even if you have an in house Health and Safety resource or whether you need assistance with tenders or accident investigations. We provide a bespoke, specific service for all of our clients.
